FAQ
short answers.

The questions operators and followers ask most, with links to the full answer.

01The record

Can a caller delete a bad call?

No. Deleting the Telegram message does not remove the call; bots are not told about deletions. An edit is stored next to the original, and the original is what counts.

Can I, the operator, remove a call?

Not through the product. The database refuses deletes of calls and changes to seals. If the file were changed by hand, every later seal would stop matching the hashes already posted to Telegram and Solana, and verify-export.mjs would show where.

Can I import calls from before the bot joined?

No. The record starts when the bot joins and the chat is approved. That is what makes it checkable.

Why is the peak not the result?

A follower cannot sell at the exact peak. The peak is shown, labelled "not reachable"; the result is what a follower could have had at fixed exits after fees and slippage. See How a follower's result is measured.

What is a re-shill?

The same caller posting the same token again within 24 hours. The call is shown but not scored, so repeating a token cannot inflate a record.

What does "not checked" mean?

Exit liquidity was not checked: no data source is configured or the caller has not linked a wallet. It means "we don't know", never "did not sell".

02Running it

Does it work without a bot token?

The site runs read-only on the existing record: nothing new is recorded and seals are not posted.

Do I have to anchor seals on Solana?

No. Seals are made and posted to Telegram without it. Anchoring adds a timestamp nobody can edit; each memo costs a normal network fee from your wallet.

What happens while my server is down?

Telegram keeps undelivered updates for up to 24 hours; they arrive with their original times when the bot is back. Older messages are lost to the bot.

Can I run it on Vercel or another serverless host?

Not for a real install. It needs a persistent disk for SQLite and a long-running process for the bot. See Deployment.

Can one install record several groups?

Yes. Add the bot to each group or channel and approve it. The Groups page lists them, and the leaderboard can be filtered by group.

Other chains or platforms?

Not in this version: Solana tokens, Telegram chats only.

03Money and data

Does MIKODES see my data or take a fee?

No. The software runs on your server with your bot and your keys. There is no telemetry and no default fee account.

Does the server hold funds or keys?

No. Payments go straight to your wallet or your bot's Stars balance; the server only reads the chain. Seal memos are signed in your browser wallet.

Is this investment advice?

No. It shows what already happened after fees. It does not pick tokens, trade or hold funds. Keep your own posts in the same spirit (wording).

Which licences do the dependencies use?

Run pnpm run licenses. It lists every production dependency and fails on GPL, AGPL, LGPL, SSPL or an unknown licence. Use pnpm run licenses, not pnpm licenses, which is a different pnpm command. See Credits & licences.
